Unicaf’s headquarters are in Europe, and the organization was founded in 2012. While it initially focused solely on Africa, it has since expanded its scope to offer scholarships like the UNICAF Postgraduate Scholarship to students worldwide who meet certain eligibility criteria. Unicaf has branch campuses and learning centres throughout Africa, including Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya, Zimbabwe, Uganda, Egypt, Morocco, South Africa, Zambia, and Malawi.
Over 45,000 people have already taken advantage of the Unicaf scholarships and enrolled in one of the partnership programs. The British Accreditation Council has accredited Unicaf University in the United Kingdom (BAC). To supplement the online delivery model, the campuses plan to offer a variety of student services and face-to-face tutorials. Unicaf University, despite being founded by Unicaf, is treated as a partner university, with scholarships provided for students taking the courses, whether online or in the form of partially on-campus learning. Unicaf University is currently in the process of establishing new campuses in various African countries.
