Along the way, they develop a long-lasting network of support and strengthen the fundamental abilities required to become the next generation of leaders in the science and technology industries.

4. Kenan Music Scholarship

The Kenan Music Scholarship of the UNC-Chapel Hill Department of Music is given to four incoming freshmen each year. This kind of scholarship provides a four-year scholarship with full tuition (including student fees, room, and board). A $2,500 Carolina Works work-study offer and a one-time $2,500 enrichment opportunity award are given to recipients in addition to their scholarships. These grants can be used for study abroad, internships, or research. Students will be given consideration for this renewable prize if they apply to UNC and complete a FAFSA at the same time (by the Early Action or Regular Decision deadline).

7. Old Well and Founders Scholarships

Students from North Carolina who have excelled academically and possess exceptional talent in one or more areas are given Old Well and Founders Scholarships. The county of domicile and the high school attended may be additional criteria for these honours.
