Transfer Requirements for Clemson 

The following admission requirements must be met by transfer students applying for admission to Clemson university: 

1. To earn any first undergraduate degree at the four- or five-level: 

A minimum of two levels, or roughly 60 units of work, must be completed at Clemson University, including the final level. 

2. To earn a first-year, three-level undergraduate degree: 

At McMaster University, the final level and at least one other level (a minimum of 60 units of work) must be finished.


The final level (roughly 30 units of work) must be finished at Clemson university and include at least 18 units of program-specific requirements. 

3. The residence requirements do not apply to courses taken at another university with a letter of permission. 

4. Clemson university is the only place where you can finish the coursework for a second bachelor’s degree.
