Antonio Brown formerly Antonio Tavaris Brown Sr. was born in Miami, Florida on July 10, 1988. Brown is the son of former Arena Football League star “Touchdown” Eddie Brown, who was named the league’s best player in 2006, and Adrianne Moss. Eddie Brown was a wide receiver for the Albany Firebirds and a football player at Louisiana Tech. He attended Miami Norland High School and was a wide receiver and punt returner. Brown attended Central Michigan University, where he was a two-time First-Team All-American and MAC Special Teams Player of the Year.

Antonio Brown went to Miami Norland High School in Miami, Florida, and played football there. Brown was a running back, quarterback, wide receiver, and punt returner for the Minnesota Vikings. He was a two-time Class 6A all-state selection and the 2005 Miami-Dade Gridiron Classic North Athlete of the Year.

North Carolina Tech Prep
After failing to gain admission to Florida State, he enrolled at North Carolina Tech Prep. Brown passed for 1,247 yards and 11 touchdowns while rushing for 451 yards and 13 touchdowns in just five games as a quarterback. He received a scholarship to play at Florida International University after finishing his lone season at North Carolina Tech Prep, but he was expelled before the season for an altercation with security. Brown then began reaching out to West Virginia wide receivers coach Butch Jones, who had recruited him heavily. Brown enrolled at Central Michigan after learning that Jones had left West Virginia to become the head coach there, and he began his college football career as a walk-on freshman.

Brown attended Central Michigan University and played football there from 2007 to 2009.
Antonio Brown enrolled at Central Michigan in 2007 after wide receivers coach Zach Azzanni invited him to fly to Michigan and try out as a walk-on wide receiver. It was not difficult for him to transition from quarterback in high school to wide receiver in college, and after a few weeks, Central Michigan coaches offered him a scholarship. Brown struggled with adjusting to college life and staying on time for meetings and practices. Azzanni and his wife assisted him in settling in and establishing a routine, and he quickly became a member of their family. On September 1, he made his collegiate debut against Kansas. In the 52-7 loss, he had four receptions for 23 yards.
In the 52-31 victory over Toledo the following week, he had nine receptions for 105 yards and his first collegiate touchdown, a six-yard pass from Dan LeFevour. In a 58-38 victory over Ball State on October 6, he had six receptions for 43 yards and a touchdown, as well as a nine-yard rushing touchdown. On November 23, he had 15 receptions for 174 yards in a 35-32 win over Akron. The Chippewas finished 8-5, won the MAC and advanced to a bowl game. In the 51-48 loss to Purdue in the 2007 Motor City Bowl, he had four receptions for 94 yards and a receiving touchdown.
Brown appeared in 14 games during his freshman season at Central Michigan. He performed well enough to earn Mid-American Conference Freshman of the Year honours and All-Conference honours as a returner. He had 102 receptions for 1,003 yards and six touchdowns as a freshman. In 2007, he led the Mid-American Conference with 102 receptions.
Brown was drafted by the Pittsburgh Steelers as the No. 1 pick in the 2010 NFL Draft and has spent his entire career with the team. Brown was named AFC Offensive Co-Player of the Year in 2014 and led the NFL in receiving yards.
In 2014 and 2015, he led the NFL in receptions and the AFC in receiving touchdowns. New England Patriots
On September 9, the day after he was released by the Raiders, he signed a one-year contract with the New England Patriots. He worked out with the Patriots and was scheduled to play in Week 2 of the NFL. Antonio was released by the Patriots on September 20 due to sexual assault allegations.
Antonio Brown hinted that he might retire from the NFL in the 2020 offseason. Due to violations of the league’s conduct policy, he was ultimately suspended for the first eight weeks of the 2020 NFL season.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Antonio signed a one-year contract with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in October 2020. Former New England Patriots teammate Tom Brady, who had recently joined the Buccaneers, was instrumental in getting Antonio the job. Bruce Arians, the coach of the Tampa Bay Lightning, previously coached Antonio in Pittsburgh. On February 7, 2021, the Buccaneers won the Super Bowl.
In the middle of the third quarter of Week 17 of the 2021 season, Antonio removed his jersey, shoulder pads, and shirt and ran off the field. He was eventually released by the club.
