All international students from any country are eligible to apply for Flinders University’s Fully-funded Master’s Degree and PhD Degree Scholarships. Master’s and PhD degree programs in Australia have a two-year scholarship and a three-year PhD degree program.
Under Australian Government Scholarships, Flinders University offers a variety of academic fields and majors for Postgraduate Degree Programs. All expenses will be covered by the scholarship. The AGRTP Scholarships are designed to provide international excellent students with the opportunity to study for free at one of Australia’s top universities. Eligibility for the AGRTP Flinders University Scholarship
For you to be eligible for the AGRTP Flinders University Scholarship for International Students, you must meet the following criteria.
- For a Master’s degree by research or a Doctorate by research, you must meet the University’s Academic Entry Requirements.
- You must have completed a four-year bachelor’s degree with honours.
- At the time of application, you must have met Flinders University’s English Proficiency Levels for international students.
- You must not be a citizen of Australia, have permanent residency status in Australia, or be a citizen of New Zealand.

To apply for the AGRTP Flinders University Scholarship, go to the Australian Government Research Training Program Scholarships (AGRTPS).
To be considered for an AGRTPS, you must first apply for admission to a Higher Degree by Research (PhD or Master of Arts by Research), then apply for the International RHD Scholarship Group.
You do not need to apply for admission again if you already have a valid offer for a Higher Degree by Research.
The AGRTP Flinders University Scholarship in Australia is a fully-funded scholarship for international students. The Flinders International Student Scholarships will cover two years of expenses for MSc programs and three years of expenses for PhD programs, such as:
- Tuition is paid in full.
- Tuition is offset by a living stipend of $28,854 and Overseas Health Care coverage.
- Allowance of up to $1,485 to help with relocation costs and airfares (after arrival at Flinders).

The Flinders University AGRTP Scholarship in Australia 2023 application deadline is August 2023.
The Australian Government Research Training Program (AGRTP) is designed to help international students pursue a research-based higher degree at Flinders University via the AGRTP Flinders University Scholarship. An international tuition fee offset, a living stipend, and Overseas Health Care coverage are all included in the AGRTP.
The AGRTP is given to candidates who have demonstrated a strong ability to conduct independent research. Academic merit, academic research training, and research indicators and performance are all taken into account when selecting winners for the AGRTP Flinders University Scholarship.
For a Research Doctorate, the scholarship is renewable for up to three years, and for a Research Masters’s degree, it is renewable for up to two years. Successful applicants must be full-time students who are starting a higher degree by research for the first time in Australia.
